Easter in Greece is one of the most important holidays. The whole easter week has been celebrated. The local Cretan people call it the big week/megalo efdomada. And the days are also called big days, for example saturday was Big saturday.
Traditionally we take some people to a church to see the burning of Judas. The day after we have a nice lamb on the spit, like everywhere else on Crete. For whole week we have special easter excursions, all over island of Crete.
